Interested in starting a nonacademic job search? Or just wondering how a humanities PhD student can prepare for a such a search?
Join Maria Wisdom, Director of Advising and Engagement for the Humanities, and a few of your grad student colleagues for a conversation via videoconference this Friday, July 21, from 10am-11:30am.
Participants will set the direction of the conversation, but we may discuss the following topics:
- Where do I even start?
- Researching other fields, discerning a good fit
- Networking
- Preparing job materials (resume, online presence)
